ZenBook Edition 30
To celebrate 30 years of the brand, Asus launched a special anniversary edition ZenBook Edition 30 with a white leather lid and 18K rose gold logo embedded into it. The premium materials are not just limited to the laptop, but will also extend to dedicated accessories for the notebook including a pearl white mouse to go along with the design and a leather sleeve to complement it. At the heart of the laptop is Intel’s Core i7 8th Gen chipset along with Nvidia’s GeForce MX 250 for dedicated graphics handling, accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and PCIe SSD storage. The display is a 13-inch panel with ultra-thin bezels and a screen to body ratio of 95%. Asus’ signature ScreenPad is also present and accounted for.
ZenScreen Touch
The ZenScreen Touch is a big 15.6-inch Full HD display panel that is portable and can be carried along with ease, thanks to its lightweight design that weighs in at just 900 grams and has a thickness of 9mm. The capacitive display has 10-point multitouch support and has a built-in battery with 7800mAh capacity. The battery is claimed to provide up to 4 hours of usage on a single charge and also charges over USB-C. For connectivity, there is a hybrid USB Type-C port along with a micro HDMI port which can be used to connect PCs. The ZenScreen Touch also has a dedicated app using which even smartphones running on Android 6 or above can be connected to the monitor. At the time of writing, the availability and pricing of both these products have not been announced.
