The Asus Zenfone Max (M1) offers a familiar metallic exterior with a standard design. There’s a 5.45-inch 720p screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with a MicroSD card slot, and a 4000mAh battery that’s compatible with 10W charging. The camera arrangement on the Zenfone Max includes a single LED flash and a f/2.0 lens on both the sides. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor, while on the rear, you will find a 13-megapixel snapper. Both of them offer all the usual modes such as Portrait, HDR, Beauty, and more. Unlike the Zenfone Lite L1, the Zenfone Max M1 also offers a physical fingerprint reader along with a software-based face unlock feature. In addition, the phone comes with a Big Magnet speaker, the output of which can be manually finetuned and boosted through the settings. As for software, it comes with Android Oreo out of the box layered over by the company’s own ZenUI 5.0 skin. The Asus Zenfone Lite L1 is priced at Rs 8,999 but it will be available at a Rs 1,500 discount for throughout the festive season.
