Poco M3: Design and Display
In terms of design, the Poco M3 features a distinct design language than some of the other smartphones out there. The back of the device comes with a textured finish and incorporates a rectangular camera block, housing the camera module and the Poco branding, which spans the width of the device. Towards the front, the phone has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with support for FHD+ resolution and Widevine L1 certification. The display is also TUV Rheinland certified. Poco M3 comes in three colors: Power Black, Cool Blue, and Poco Yellow.
Poco M3: Performance
Under the hood, the Poco M3 runs on the Snapdragon 662 processor that offers up to 2.0GHz of clock speed and includes the Adreno 610 GPU to handle graphics. To assist the processor, the device utilizes 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB (UFS 2.1) / 128GB (UFS 2.2) of storage (expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card). And it has a 6000mAh battery (with support for 18W fast charging and reverse wired charging) to power the internals. As for other specifications, the Poco M3 comes with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 5. It uses a USB Type-C port for charging and also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, an IR sensor, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication. Finally, on the software front, the phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10.
Poco M3: Camera
In the camera department, the Poco M3 sports a triple camera setup on the rear with an LED flash. The setup includes a 48MP (f/1.79) primary sensor, accompanied by a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter with an f/2.05 aperture.
Poco M3: Pricing and Availability
The Poco M3 comes in two configurations: 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB, priced at $149 and $169, respectively. During the Black Friday Sale, the company will be offering the Poco M3 for $129 and $149 respectively. As for availability, the device will be available starting November 27 on select retailers, with availability on other platforms at a later date.
