Redmi Max TV
As already mentioned, the Redmi Max TV features a massive 98-inch display with 4K resolution and HDR support. Moreover, it also comes with MEMC motion compensation, local dimming, and NTSC color gamut along with a dynamic 192-level backlight. At its core, the TV has a 12nm quad-core Cortex A55 T972 processor running under the hood, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The TV runs on Patchwall OS based on Android TV and offers 3x HDMI and 2x USB ports, along with Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 802.11ac support. With Patchwall OS, the TV also gets Bluetooth voice remote control and Xiao AI voice assistant. Moreover, you also get Dolby sound and DTS-HD audio, along with 2x 8W speakers, for an immersive audio experience.
Redmi Touchscreen Speaker 8
The Redmi Touchscreen Speaker 8 has an 8-inch display upfront, which offers a 178-degree wide viewing angle and an HD resolution. It includes an HD camera on top for video calling, and there is support for multi-device calls too. Besides, there is one 1.75-inch 5W speaker, along with touch and voice control options. It comes with Bluetooth Mesh gateway to help connect smart home devices (using Bluetooth), to offer a convenient way of controlling these devices. Similar to Redmi Max TV, the touchscreen speaker also offers Xiao AI voice assistant, which can be used to get basic information.
Redmi Max TV and Touchscreen Speaker 8: Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Max TV carries a price tag of CNY 19999 (~ USD 2833), whereas, the Touchscreen Speaker 8 is priced at CNY 349 (~ USD 50). As for the availability, Max TV will go on sale from April, while the Speaker 8 will be available starting March 27.
