Samsung Galaxy A31: Design and Display
The Galaxy A31 features a glasstic (glass + plastic) design on the rear with a rectangular camera module housing the quad-camera array. It comes with a dual-tone finish and offers three color options: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush White. Towards the front, the device has a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a tear-drop notch to house the front-facing camera.

At its core, Samsung Galaxy A31 runs on a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset with ARM Mali-G52 GPU, which is an octa-core processor built on the 12nm process. Assisting the processor is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card. To power the internals, the device includes a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. For connectivity, the handset comes with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and Bluetooth 5. Besides, it also includes a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. Moreover, there is also support for Dolby Atmos. On the software front, the device runs on One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 out of the box.

In the camera department, the Galaxy A31 sports a quad-camera setup with an LED flash. The setup includes a 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor accompanied by a 123° 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP (f/2.4) macro, and a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP (f/2.2) camera for selfies.
