The Samsung Galaxy J4 comes with a traditional 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 720p and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the company’s own Exynos 7570 octa-core chipset, 2 or 3GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through a MicroSD card, and a 3000mAh battery. Out of the box, the Galaxy J4 runs on Android Oreo with Samsung’s custom skin on top. The camera arrangement houses a rear 13-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel with a soft LED flash on the front. The phone misses out on any biometrics hardware and hence, also lacks a fingerprint sensor. In addition to that, it’s compatible with 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, and Bluetooth 4.2. There are three color options to choose from — Black, Blue, and Gold. While the base variant is priced at Rs 9,990, the one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage goes all the way up to Rs 11,990. Commenting further on the launch, Sumit Walia, Director, Mobile Business, Samsung India, stated, “At Samsung, it is our constant endeavour to offer products and services that truly add value to the lives of our consumers.
