Display and Design

With the M20, the RAM options are restricted to 3GB and 4GB, and the internal storage option to 32GB and 64GB (expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card). On the other hand, with the Galaxy M30, the company offers 4GB and 6GB of RAM and 64GB and 128GB of internal storage options (expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card). Both devices are powered by a whopping 5000mAh of battery and run on Samsung Experience 9.5, based on Android 8.1 Oreo. In terms of other hardware specifications, the M20 and M30 are similar in most aspects, with Dual SIM (Dual VoLTE), face-unlock, fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro sensor, proximity sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, virtual light sensing, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C. Apart from this, both the devices come with Widevine L1 Certification that allows you to stream HD content from any of your favorite streaming services.
Camera
Talking about the camera on both devices, the M20 sports a dual camera setup on the rear (13MP primary with f/1.9 aperture + 5MP ultra-wide with f/2.2), compared to a triple camera setup on the M30 (13MP primary with f/1.9 + 5MP ultra-wide with f/2.2 + 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2). For selfies, the M20 has an 8MP sensor with f/2.0, compared to a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 on the front. The M30 gets an extra-edge with its ultra-wide camera sensor that manages to capture a 123-degree view. And for this reason itself, Samsung claims the camera on M30 to be the first in the segment to offer ultra-wide pictures.

Coming to the most important aspect, the price, Samsung offers its Galaxy M20 in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants for Rs 10,990 and Rs 12,990 respectively, as compared to the Galaxy M30, which is priced at Rs 14,990 and Rs 17,990 for the 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variant respectively.
