The C5L is the cheapest one among all, it comes with a 4.5-inches IPS panel with an 854×480 resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz, 1GB of RAM with Adreno 304 GPU, 8GB of internal storage, Android 5.1 and a slot for Micro SD card that supports cards up to 32GB. On the camera side, there’s a respectable 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash along with a 2MP lens on the front. Underneath, there’s a 2000mAh battery that could be a deal breaker but given the non-power hungry specifications, it might work out. Next up is the C5 that boosts a major bump in the spec sheet. It features a 5-inches 720p HD display, quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor shifting from the Snapdragon one provided on the C5L, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot. It also sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Backed by a 2200 mAh battery, it will also come pre-loaded with Android 5.1.
Finally we have the C5 Max that is the most capable handset. Here, we have a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution IPS display, a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB of RAM with Mali-T720 MP3 GPU which is rather disappointing if you ask me. There’s 16 inbuilt storage expandable via a Micro SD up to 32GB. On the back, it holds a 13MP f/2.0 shooter with Dual LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs on a 3045 mAh battery with Android 5.1.

TP-Link will continue to build a smart lifestyle.” These handsets are expected to hit the shelves at the end of Q1 2016, however the pricing model is yet to be revealed. All of them will be available in Dark Grey and Pearl White colour options. While the specifications are pretty standard for any new smartphone nowadays, performance overall is expected to be above average on these. Pricing will play a key role for this new entrant as a lot of other OEMs are already launching better devices.
