Mi 10 Ultra: Design and Display
Talking about the design, the Mi 10 Ultra comes with an all-glass body with a curved panel on the back and a quad-camera array setup in a vertical arrangement. Towards the front, it has a 6.67-inch FullHD+ AMOLED curved panel with a punch-hole cutout on the top-left for the front-facing camera. The display offers up to 120Hz refresh rate and is HDR10+ certified. Mi 10 Ultra comes in three color variants: Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver, and Transparent Edition.
Mi 10 Ultra: Performance
At its core, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra runs on the latest Snapdragon 865 processor, which is an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm, built on the 7nm process, with 5G connectivity. Graphics processing is taken care of by the Adreno 650 GPU. The phone includes up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It includes a 4500mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Xiaomi suggests that the 120W fast charging takes only 23 minutes to fully charge a 4500mAh battery. The device runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. For connectivity, the device provides 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. Besides, it comes with a USB Type-C port, in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and Hi-Res audio.
Mi 10 Ultra: Camera
The Mi 10 Ultra sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a custom 48MP primary sensor with OIS + EIS and laser autofocus, accompanied by a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 128-degree FoV, a 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 48MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, 120x digital zoom, and OIS + EIS. The rear camera can shoot videos in 8K. On the front, the device has a 20MP camera.
Mi 10 Ultra: Pricing and Availability
The Mi 10 Ultra comes in four configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB, priced at ¥5299 ($763/Rs 56,900), ¥5599 ($806/Rs 60,100), ¥5999 ($864/Rs 64,400), and ¥6999 ($1000/Rs 75,100), respectively. As for availability, the phone will go on sale in China starting August 16. In addition to the Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi has also announced the Redmi K30 Ultra, which starts at ¥1999.
