Under the hood, it is powered by a 2GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 675 chipset with Adreno 612 GPU, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card). In terms of other hardware specifications, the device comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C for data transfer and charging, a fingerprint scanner on the rear for authentication, an IR blaster, and a massive 3900mAh battery, with Quick Charge 4, to power it all. The device runs on MIUI 10, based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes only in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option and is priced at 1599 yuan (~Rs 16,350). It will go on sale in China, starting March 22nd. The phone was launched last month in India in two variants with the bigger 6GB/128GB model priced at Rs 16,999.
